Upcycle. Reuse. Recycle.
Fort Plain Antiques & Salvage occupies over 18,000 sq. ft of space in a renovated building in the historic Mohawk Valley of upstate NY. We specialize in the odd & unusual, and we pride ourselves in finding the most interesting items in the region that we can.
We work hard to keep our shelves full and therefore our stock rotates constantly. If you need help with that home renovation problem, that craft project idea, or that decorating issue, stop in because we want to help you solve it!
Fort Plain Antiques & Salvage believes in recycling, and if you are looking for parts and pieces, we are the place to go! Used goods are great unique objects to use, and this is best thing we can do for our planet.
Collectibles and Antiques are located both floors of the store, which are jam packed with a large selection of goodies. We have several showcases, where we offer a continuously changing variety of small trinkets, jewelry and historical items. There is a kitchenware section featuring glassware, dishes and serving utensils. There are many unique decorative pieces to accent your home and so much more!
Our Salvage Department features a large heated space on 2 floors for comfortable 4-season shopping, and is full of larger possibilities for your home. Looking for doors or windows, shutters or spindles? We have them and more! We also carry a selection of hardware pieces and architectural parts and pieces for your renovation or decorative needs.
We offer a large selection of rustic and vintage wood. Our stock rotates often so you never know what you may find! Typically you will find large wood slabs milled and kiln dried locally in Amish sawmills, reclaimed lumber, both vintage and new old stock. We find various hardwoods such as walnut, cherry, oak and pine that would be perfect for your latest project.
